Global private equity firm Warburg Pincus LLC and one other entity are likely to sell a little over 9% stake in Fusion Micro Finance Limited (NSEI:FUSION) through block deals on December 14, 2023, according to reports. The private equity firm is part of the promoter group in the microfinance company and held a 39.22% stake as of September-end through its entity ? Honey Rose Investment Ltd. Besides Warburg Pincus, Chicago-based investment firm Creation Investments Fusion, LLC, which is also a part of the promoter group, may as well sell part stake.

The total number of shares on offer is 9.35 million, and the floor price for the same has been set at INR 535, reports said. Through the sale, Warburg is looking at raising about INR 10 billion. IIFL Securities Limited is the broker to the deal.

The floor price is at a discount of nearly 5% to the current market price of the stock. On December 13, 2023, shares of Fusion Micro ended 0.7% down on the National Stock Exchange at INR 562.75.
