G Collado, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 2,893.94 million compared to MXN 3,615.21 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 93.98 million compared to MXN 66.06 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.19 compared to MXN 0.13 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.19 compared to MXN 0.13 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was MXN 5,970.47 million compared to MXN 6,925.61 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 184.74 million compared to MXN 140.57 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.37 compared to MXN 0.28 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.37 compared to MXN 0.28 a year ago.
G Collado SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company primarily engaged in the steel industry. The Companyâs main activities comprise purchase and sale, as well as transformation and distribution of steel products, principally dedicated for the construction, industrial and commercial use. Its products portfolio includes industrial pipes, commercial profiles, sheets, plates, beams, panels, mesh, rods, wire rods, wire, nails, forecastles and rings, among others. The Company also offers additional steel processing services, such as cutting, forming, bending, assembling, rolling, printing, punching and shotblasting.
