Board appointments and resignation

In terms of the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) Equity Listing Requirements, G4S Botswana Limited is required to announce through the BSE the resignation or appointment of a director of the company.

Appointment of Non-Executive Directors

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of two Non-Executive Directors effective 1 November 2022:

1. Mr Thabo Kagiso Matthews is currently the Managing Director of Fibre Sourcing Botswana and has more than 20 years of senior management experience having worked for multinational institutions such as Barclays Bank, Accenture, KPMG Consulting (later known as EOH KPMG Consulting), Deloitte Consulting as well as large corporations such as Mascom Wireless Botswana.
2. Ms Colleen Motsei Motswaiso is a certified chartered accountant and a senior finance and accounting executive with over 30 years of progressive experience in managing finance and support functions and processes. She has a track record of leading teams of professionals in the attainment of company's strategic intent and has a proven ability to establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders. She is currently the General Manager of Corporate Services at the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.

Resignation of Finance Director

The Board thanks Mr Johann du Plooy, who has tendered his resignation as Finance Director of the company, for his services over the past 2 years and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
