Gaussin announces a new firm order for 70 ATM® FULL

ELEC from its distributor Blydd

That major commercial success is a sign of ramped up sales following the first

32 ATM® FULL ELEC already sold to Blydd

Gaussin Manugistique (EURONEXT GROWTH FR0010342329) has announced a firm order for 70 ATM® FULL ELEC from its distributor Blydd. The vehicles are intended for leading players in retailing and logistics.

To date, some twenty ATM FULL ELEC vehicles are already being operated in fifteen logistics facilities in France. Some of them operate round the clock thanks to the integrated battery swap system that is easy to use.

Ramping up of sales of ATM FULL ELEC

This new order follows two other orders for ATM vehicles from Blydd, the first for 8 vehicles in May 2017 and the second for 24 vehicles in November 2017. The first order has now been delivered entirely, while the last delivery for the second order is scheduled for the end of September 2019. These ATM vehicles are particularly intended for Carrefour Supply Chain and Kuehne Nagel facilities.

These deliveries have demonstrated the performance of the ATM® FULL ELEC in the field, on a real scale, thereby opening the way for larger orders and promising Gaussin a significant place in the market for environmentally responsible logistics vehicles.

An easy-to-handle and environmentally responsible vehicle

The ATM has a number of advantages compared to conventional road vehicles:

Equipped with two 60 kWh lithium ion batteries powering two 50 kW motors, the ATM FULL ELEC provides 24 hours of use per charge. The vehicle has a towing capacity of 44 tonnes and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. ATM FULL ELEC technology is patented and its design is protected.

In 2017, the ATM FULL ELEC won the sustainable development innovation price in the manufacturers category at the Solutrans Innovation Trophies event.

Gaussin, finalist in the Dubai World Challenge

The Gaussin group has been shortlisted by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai as a finalist in the Dubai World Challenge forSelf-DrivingTransport, aglobal competition for driverless passenger transport. The last stage of the contest is scheduled for September 2019 in Dubai, and on 15 October,the winner will be awarded the exclusive right to operate in Dubai and a cash prize of USD 3 million. Exclusivity in Dubai will make Gaussin inescapable in the area and considerably raise its profile over the whole region.
