Giga Prize Co.,Ltd. (NSE:3830) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program the company will repurchase 100,000 shares, representing 0.69% of the outstanding shares for ¥200 million. The purpose of the program is to increase the value per share in response to changes in the shareholder market and to implement agile capital policies in response to changes in the business environment.
The program will run until June 30, 2024. As of November 17, 2023, the company had 14,463,081 shares outstanding (excluding treasury stock) and 2,615,319 shares in treasury.
GIGA PRIZE CO., LTD. is primarily engaged in Internet-related services. The Company operates in two segments. The HomeIT segment provides Internet service provider (ISP) and security system service for condominium residents, and network services such as managed service provider (MSP) service and hosting service for corporations. The Real Estate segment, along with subsidiaries, promotes and develops franchise stores in the ion housing business and engages in the leasing and brokerage of real estate through the franchise stores.
