Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. (GERI) announced the appointment of new GERI senior executives. Monica T. Salomon was appointed as the new President of GERI. Previously she served as Head of Megaworld's Corporate Management Division, she spearheaded strategic real estate acquisitions and joint ventures for the Megaworld Group.

Ms. Salomon was also elected to GERI's Board of Directors, replacing Megaworld nominee, Alain Sebastian. Apart from GERI, Ms. Salomon holds directorships in various Megaworld and GERI subsidiaries including Twin Lakes Corporation, Megaworld-Global Estate, Inc., Prestige Hotels & Resorts, Inc., Luxury Global Hotels and Leisure, Inc., Oceantown Properties, Inc., Eastwood Property Holdings, Inc., Megaworld Cebu Properties, Inc., Megaworld Resort Estates, Inc., Megaworld Land, Inc. and Megaworld Foundation, Inc. Jennifer L. Romualdez, GERI's Vice President for Contracts, Procurement and Project Management since 2012, was also appointed as the new head of GERI's Operations Division. Earlier, Ms. Romualdez worked for Megaworld Corporation for nine years in various capacities in the areas of procurement, contracts, construction and interior design.

GERI Director Wilbur Chan will head GERI's business group handling hotels and clubs. He is currently the Chairman of Fairways & Bluewater Resort Golf & Country Club in Boracay and of Fil-Estate Urban Development Corporation. Mr. Chan will also sit as a member of GERI's Board Advisory Committee.

GERI Director and Megaworld Chief Operating Officer, Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso, was also appointed as GERI's Managing Director in a concurrent capacity, to oversee GERI's business performance and lead in the formulation of overall strategic direction, plans and policies for the company. Ms. Alfonso chairs Megaworld's Management Executive Committee and holds directorships in various GERI and Megaworld subsidiaries including Twin Lakes Corporation, Megaworld-Global Estate, Inc., Prestige Hotels & Resorts, Inc., Luxury Global Hotels and Leisure, Inc., Eastwood Cyber One Corporation, Oceantown Properties, Inc., Megaworld Cebu Properties, Inc., Megaworld Resort Estates, Inc., Suntrust Properties, Inc. and First Oceanic Property Management, Inc.
