Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited informed that on November 29, 2022, the Company has signed the Joint Venture Agreement to develop a portfolio of wind projects with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners Group ("CIP") via CI NMF I Cooperatief U.A. ("CI NMF I"), with the purpose of jointly exploring opportunities in wind energy and to establish a joint venture to jointly develop wind projects with a focus on Thailand. The Company will hold a 51% stake in the aforementioned joint venture and individual projects. This cooperation combines the strengths of both the Company and CIP. CIP is a leading fund management company based in Denmark and a global expert in the development of wind energy projects with assets under management in several regions worldwide, including the Federal Republic of Germany, the United States of America, India, Taiwan, as well as other countries. Meanwhile, the Company has expertise in power business and renewable energy businesses across Asia Pacific. Therefore, such a cooperation will enhance the Company's capability in operating wind energy businesses of the joint venture, which is aligned with the Company's strategy in increasing its proportion of electricity generation from renewable energy to become a carbon neutral organization by 2050 and achieve net zero emissions by 2060. In addition, the Company will be well-prepared to respond to investment opportunities in accordance with Thailand's Power Development Plan (PDP 2022). Moreover, on November 15, 2022, CI NMF I has entered into the Share Purchase Agreement and acquired
49% of issued shares in Eurus Plus Company Limited and Boree Plus Company Limited (both formerly wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company) to participate in the application for electricity generation according to the Energy Regulatory Commission announced the notification for the purchase of electricity generated from renewable energy sources under the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) scheme 2022 ­ 2030 for power plants with no fuel costs B.E. 2565 (2022).
