On September 2, the China EnterpriseConfederation and China Enterprise Directors Association released the list of "2014China's Top 500 Enterprises". Great Wall Motors was ranked 214th, 27places up from 2013.

Data shows Great Wall Motors' ranking on the list of China's Top 500Enterprises has risen year by year since making the list for the first time in2004. The list is reportedly devised based on data submitted by candidate enterprises.Enterprises should not only meet the application conditions, but also submitaudit reports provided by accounting firms to ensure data's objectiveness andfairness. Apart from the enterprises that file applications voluntarily, publically-listedcompanies that meet relevant conditions but have not filed applications willautomatically be included in the list, too. The threshold of this year isannual operating revenues of 22.86 billion yuan, up 2.99 billion yuan from lastyear.
