AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Green Dot Corp. (GDOT) on Tuesday reported a loss of $23.6 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Austin, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 45 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 14 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 17 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $366 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $361.7 million, surpassing Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $350.1 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $6.7 million, or 13 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $1.48 billion.

Green Dot expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.45 to $1.59 per share.
