sMedio, Inc. announced consolidated earnings results for the third quarter ended September 2019. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 661 million compared to JPY 779 million a year ago. Operating loss was JPY 63 million compared to JPY 45 million a year ago. Loss attributable to owners of parent was JPY 68 million compared with JPY 41 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was JPY 35.66 compared to JPY 21.87 a year ago.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the year ending December 2019. For the year, the company expects net sales of JPY 889 million, operating loss of JPY 79 million and loss attributable to owners of parent of JPY 84 million or JPY 44.12 per basic share.
