Grupo Ezentis Renews Maintenance Contract for Fixed and Mobile Networks of Telefónica Peru

Grupo Ezentis has renewed a maintenance contract for the fixed and mobile networks of Telefónica Peru valued at EUR 100 million (USD 104 million). The four-year contract extends coverage of services from the capital Lima to the provinces of Cusco, Puno, Moquegua, Arequipa, Tacna, made de Dios and Apurímac. Services will include maintenance of 1,100 additional mobile towers. The rest of the services are related to network design, digital registry of the network, mapping, construction works, customer service, copper, fiber and satellite TV infrastructure.
Grupo Ezentis SA, also known as Ezentis, is a Spain-based company engaged in the infrastructure and telecommunications sectors. The Companyâs activities are structured into three segments: Telecommunications, Electricity and Others. The Telecommunications segment provides design, construction, operation, as well as maintenance services of fiber optic and mobile telephone networks, among others.
