Grupo Minsa, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 1,716.39 million compared to MXN 1,773.99 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 95.11 million compared to net income of MXN 20.25 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.28 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.06 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.28 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.06 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was MXN 3,699.63 million compared to MXN 3,321.54 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 199.44 million compared to MXN 13.25 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.58 compared to MXN 0.04 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.58 compared to MXN 0.04 a year ago.
