Shaqab Abela Catering Service Co. and Atyab completed the acquisition of all-share of Amwaj Catering Services Company from Gulf International Services Q.P.S.C..

Shaqab Abela Catering Service Co. and Atyab agreed to acquire all-share of Amwaj Catering Services Company from Gulf International Services Q.P.S.C. (DSM:GISS) on June 6, 2022. Shaqab and Atyab are owned by Manaya Holding Group W.L.L. The potential merger is subject to the completion of a detailed valuation exercise, definitive agreements with the respective shareholders and regulatory approvals, along with other customary closing conditions. December 29, 2022, The merger is expected to be accomplished during early 2023 subject to all shareholders entering into definitive agreements and proceed to obtain regulatory approvals, along with respective general assembly meeting approvals. As of May 7, 2023, The shareholders of Gulf International Services has approved the deal on March 13, 2023. As of September 21, 2023, Gulf International's Board of Directors has approved final merger transaction agreements of Amwaj, QInvest LLC acted as financial advisor to Gulf International Services Q.P.S.C

Shaqab Abela Catering Service Co. and Atyab completed the acquisition of all-share of Amwaj Catering Services Company from Gulf International Services Q.P.S.C. (DSM:GISS) on September 1, 2023. GIS obtained Extra-Ordinary General Assembly approval on March 13, 2023 and authorized its Board of Directors to take necessary steps to execute final merger. Accordingly, GIS Board of Directors approved the final merger transaction agreements. As part of the merger transaction, all the details as published on February 20, 2023 remains unchanged as part of this final approval.
