Marketing technology solutions provider Stratacache Asia-Pacific and Hakuhodo Product's have jointly launched the "Shopper Digital Transformation Experience Lab," located within Hakuhodo Product's headquarters in Toyosu, Japan, according to a press release.

The launch follows the strategic technology partnership between the companies announced last year to develop innovative customer engagement experiences to influence shopper behavior and drive digital transformation.

"Japan is among the best globally in delivering high-quality retail customer experiences. Across Asia-Pacific, Japanese retailers set the bar for what it means to deliver an exceptional customer experience, having a top global economy and reaching affluent shoppers in top-brand retail districts," Chris Riegel, Stratacache CEO, said in the release. "We are deeply honored to partner with Hakuhodo Product's on new opportunities to use Scala and Stratacache technologies to create frictionless, innovative customer experiences."

The Shopper DX Experience Lab will be managed as an experience center and a testbed that will showcase a selection of retail technology solutions, provide key insights and deliver a competitive edge in rethinking retail experiences, serve as an incubator for ideas and a place to socialize retail transformation, and extract insights from different revenue models to help determine the best solutions.

"In the Japanese market, there is an urgent need for DX (digital transformation) in the retail industry. We believe that the clients whom we are supporting in terms of marketing strategy have extremely high expectations," Hiroshi Ozawa, corporate office and general manager, Retail Promotion Division of Hakuhodo, said in the release. "Under such circumstances, we trust that the partnership agreement with Stratacache, a global leader in advanced retail technology, will be a powerful tool for us. We are confident that we will become a leading company in the retail technology field by combining the strengths of both companies."

Stratacache, founded in 1997, is headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. The company provides end-to-end digital media deployments for the retail shops, QSRs, retail banking, education and infrastructure industries. Hakuhodo Product's Inc., established in 2005, is based in Tokyo, Japan, and uses data analytics to help advance technologies in the retail market.
