Heim Limited and Heim II Limited made an offer to acquire a 7.7% stake in Hanssem Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A009240) for KRW 100 billion on March 2, 2023. The transaction will be financed through self-raised funds. The tender offer is scheduled to open on March 2, 2023, and close on March 21, 2023.
Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. acted as financial advisor to Heim Limited and Heim II Limited.
Hanssem Co Ltd is a Korea-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of kitchen and interior furniture. The Company operates its business through three segments: the Kitchen Furniture segment, the Interior Furniture segment and the Other segment. The Company provides furniture used for kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms and other spaces, such as beds, book cases, desks and sofas, chairs, dressers and others. It also provides allied furniture packages and related materials, as well as remodeling services. It is also engaged in the provision of real estate consulting services, and sales of other food. The Company distributes its products through shopping malls, internet shopping malls, sales agencies and interior alliance stores, as well as to overseas markets.
