Hanwha Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A003530) agreed to acquire 80% stake in PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia for KRW 49.3 billion on June 15, 2023. Hanwha plans to sign a takeover contract within six months. The deal will be finalized as early as the end of 2023 after receiving approvals from the financial authorities of both countries.
As of December 31, 2023, PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia reported total assets of KRW 70 billion. The deal is expected to be completed on March 29, 2024.
