The Supervisory Board of Hapag-Lloyd AG has appointed Thorsten Haeser (47) as a new Executive Board member. Haeser will be in charge of Hapag-Lloyd's global sales activities as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). He is currently Managing Director of Versatel GmbH.
Prior to that, he held various management positions at Sixt AG, Telefonica O2 and VIAG Interkom. Thorsten Haeser will take up his new position in Hamburg on 1 October 2015.
