Himatsingka Seide Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 7,391.4 million compared to INR 6,134.8 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 7,481.5 million compared to INR 6,396.8 million a year ago. Net income was INR 287.8 million compared to net loss of INR 338.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.92 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of INR 3.44 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.88 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of INR 3.44 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 14,212.8 million compared to INR 12,513.1 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 14,346.9 million compared to INR 13,187 million a year ago. Net income was INR 579.3 million compared to net loss of INR 886.2 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 5.88 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of INR 9 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 5.75 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of INR 9 a year ago.
