HKT (SEHK: 6823) - HONG KONG, 22 April 2022 - Tap & Go1, the mobile wallet under HKT Payment Limited, has extended its campus mobile payment services to cover international schools in addition to local schools. With just a few taps on their mobiles, international school parents and students can now order school meals easily using the mobile apps developed by HKT for food service providers Sodexo and Chartwells. This allows users to make cashless payments for school meals via Tap & Go, which is not only safer and more hygienic during the pandemic but eco-friendly as well. In addition, Tap & Go has joined hands with Sodexo and Chartwells to promote convenient digital donation through Tap & Go to Foodlink Foundation, a charity that collects surplus food across the city and delivers it to those in need.

Tap & Go's campus mobile payment services were launched in over 100 local schools in 2019, and have now been extended to cover around 40 international schools in Hong

Kong as well. With the Sodexo and Chartwells meal ordering apps, international school parents and students can pick and pay for their school meals anytime using Tap & Go, simplifying the ordering process and eliminating paper forms. Order histories can be viewed right in the app, helping parents maintain a balanced diet for their children.

International school parents can also give back to society by donating to Foodlink Foundation via Tap & Go, presenting a great opportunity to educate children about reducing food waste.
