Hotai Motor Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 60,597.16 million compared to TWD 54,921.84 million a year ago. Revenue was TWD 70,492.6 million compared to TWD 62,478.08 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 6,345.6 million compared to net loss of TWD 13,651.64 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 11.39 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 24.5 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 11.38 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 24.5 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 182,312.28 million compared to TWD 159,284.5 million a year ago. Revenue was TWD 210,025.11 million compared to TWD 179,201.86 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 18,455.98 million compared to net loss of TWD 10,171.87 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 33.13 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 18.26 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 33.11 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 18.26 a year ago.

The Company primarily provides passenger cars and business vehicles, with brands named LEXUS, TOYOTA and others, as well as large-sized vehicles, including trucks and passenger cars, with brands named HINO. In addition, it is involved in the provision of air conditioners for vehicles, vehicle leasing services and installment payment services, as well as parts and components for vehicles.
