Hoteles City Express, S.A.B. De C.V. Announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was MXN 811.775 million compared to MXN 741.116 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 128.357 million compared to MXN 164.226 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 38.965 million compared to MXN 62.387 million a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was MXN 2,333.681 million compared to MXN 2,135.996 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 377.849 million compared to MXN 449.448 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 105.778 million compared to MXN 182.207 million a year ago.
Hoteles City Express SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company, which owns and franchises a chain of hotels. The Company's activities are divided into two business segments: Hotel operations and Administration. The Hotel operations division includes management and rental of own hotels, as well as brand franchising. The Administration division provides administration services for hotel owners. The Company operates various hotel formats under a number of brand names, such as City Express, City Express Plus, City Express Suites, City Express Junior and City Centro. It owns over 120 hotels. The Company's hotel infrastructure is located in Latin America, including Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica and Colombia.
