For the third consecutive Hrvatski Telekom has been confirmed as the best mobile network and has received Ookla® Speedtest Awards™ for the 'Best Mobile Network', 'Fastest Mobile Network' and for the 'Best Mobile Coverage' in Croatia*, and it has as well received umlaut's 'Best in Test' award for the best mobile network for the fourth time.

Consumer initiated tests on the Ookla Speedtest® platform is free and users test the network in a real environment and on their own devices, which gives the best insight into real user experience. The Ookla analysis of the results of 318,477 user initiated tests conducted on Speedtest iOS and Android mobile applications, as well as results from over 106 million scans taken at 183,337 locations, during the first half of 2021 on all major mobile operators in Croatia, confirmed that Hrvatski Telekom has both the best mobile network in Croatia, as well as the fastest and the one with the best coverage. The analysis showed that Hrvatski Telekom achieved an overall Speed ​​Score score of 83.42 (compared to 70.71 in 2020), which means that the quality of service for customers was significantly better than in 2020.

umlaut's in-depth crowd-based analysis was based on 44.4 million samples collected by 16,800 users across Croatia over a period of six months, from January to June 2021 period. Compared to previous year Hrvatski Telekom improved in an overall score by as much as 35 points, and along with winning the 'Best in test' award for the fourth time, Hrvatski Telekom achieved also the best rated broadband coverage and the highest download speeds score, strengthening further its market leadership position.

After record fiber roll-out and milestone commercial 5G launch in 2020, Hrvatski Telekom in 2021 continues strongly investing in the infrastructure, developing further the 5G network which coverage reached 2 million of the population, enabling to its customers 5G GB speeds and accelerating the fiber-optic roll-out across Croatia.
