Huneed Technologies has signed a five-year project with MBDA to jointly develop 3D-printed metal parts for missile systems and introduce them on the global market. The company said that it will carry out the Additive Manufacturing Technology Development Plan (AMTDP) project with MBDA, manufacturing different shaped titanium-based parts for testing and collecting data; deciding on missile parts that can be manufactured using their 3D-printing technologies; and producing prototypes. Huneed officials said the project is in line with the company's Vision 2025 initiative to expand its global aerospace and defense businesses through technology innovation, adding the project will allow the company to advance into new businesses.
