I-Hwa Industrial Co.,Ltd reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 400.31 million compared to TWD 133.82 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 11.22 million compared to TWD 28.05 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.12 compared to TWD 0.3 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.12 compared to TWD 0.3 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,449.3 million compared to TWD 481.75 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 52.7 million compared to net loss of TWD 101.83 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.56 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.09 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.56 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.09 a year ago.
I-HWA INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of textile products. The Company operates businesses through two segments. The Textile segment is engaged in the manufacture and sales of wool yarns, cotton yarns, finished fabrics and dyestuff. Its products are applied in the manufacture of suit fabrics, Japanese kimono, sweaters, knitted fabrics and other garments, among others. This segment is also involved in the provision of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) services. The Real Estates segment is mainly engaged in the investment in the construction of real estates for rental and for sales. The Company mainly operates businesses in domestic market.
