Ichikura Co., Ltd. (TSE:6186) signed a contract to acquire Kyoto Kimono Gakuin, K.K. from an individual for ¥1.2 billion on March 24, 2016. Ichikura Co., Ltd. will acquire 0.02 million shares of Kyoto Kimono Gakuin, K.K. On completion, Kyoto Kimono Gakuin will operate as subsidiary of Ichikura. Kyoto Kimono Gakuin, K.K. reported total assets of ¥1.4 billion, net assets of ¥1.2 billion, sales of ¥1 billion, operating profit of ¥29 million and net income of ¥46 million for the period ended March 2015. The transaction was resolved by the Board of Ichikura Co., Ltd. The transaction is expected to complete on May 20, 2016. Ichikura will pay ¥10 million as advisory expenses.
