ICT ZONE ASIA ICT Zone Asia Berhad appointed Miss Chong Pei Nee, age 51, as Independent and Non Executive Independent Director, effective from 02 April 2024. Qualifications: Masters - Master of Business Administration - University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. Diploma - French National Brevet de Technicien Superieur (with distinction) - Taylor-s College, School of Hotel Management.
Working experience and occupation: Ms. Chong Pei Nee ("Ms. Penny Chong") graduated with a Higher Diploma in Hotel Management in line with French National Brevet de Technicien Superieur from Taylor's College, School of Hotel Management in 1998. She also graduated with a Master of Business Administration from University of Wales Institute in 2002. She is a Certified Professional Trainer and Certified Professional CSR Manager by the Malaysian Institute of Management since 2010.
She is also an Accredited Trainer certified by the Human Resource Development Corporation. She has over 20 years of experience in the areas of talent development. Ms. Penny Chong is currently the Assistant General Manager - Group Learning and Development in CEDR Corporate Consulting Sdn Bhd, which is a subsidiary of Lion Industries Corporation Berhad.
She is mainly responsible for assessing the learning needs of the various operating companies within the group. Additionally, she also assists with the business development of the group where her responsibilities include revamping the organisational structure to improving its financial status, and prospecting smart partnerships to expand its business.
