INA-Industrija nafte, d.d. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was HRK 6,978 million compared to HRK 4,129 million a year ago. Revenue was HRK 7,040 million compared to HRK 4,166 million a year ago. Net income was HRK 563 million compared to net loss of HRK 90 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was HRK 56.3 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of HRK 9 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was HRK 16,248 million compared to HRK 11,209 million a year ago. Revenue was HRK 16,467 million compared to HRK 11,325 million a year ago. Net income was HRK 1,097 million compared to net loss of HRK 1,055 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was HRK 109.7 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of HRK 105.5 a year ago.
INA dd is a Croatia-based company engaged in the oil and gas industry. The Companyâs business is divided into three main segments: Oil and Gas Exploration and production, engaged in oil and gas exploration and production in Croatia and abroad; Refining and Marketing, engaged in refining and marketing of oil products through fuels refineries, located in Rijeka, Sisak and Zagreb; and Retail, providing retail sales of fuels and associated products through a network of petrol stations in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Montenegro. The Company also manufactures lubricants and related products, as well as industrial and automotive lubricating greases. In addition, INA dd throughout its subsidiaries is involved in catering and tourism, car rental, as well as the provision of services related to the construction of oil and gas pipelines and plants. The Company is a parent entity of INA Group. In September 2013, it aquired 50% stake in Croplin doo, and now owns 100% of it.
