Bangkok - 12 May 2021: Intouch Holdings Plc. ('INTOUCH') has provided support to seven hospitals in Bangkok by purchasing medical devices to alleviate the shortage of equipment and provide prompt assistance to patients suffering from the latest wave of Covid-19. This donation comprises 19 devices, worth a total of 6.12 million baht, namely ICU ventilation and respiratory monitors, portable hospital-to-home ventilators, pediatric and adult ventilators (with lung assessment), bedside monitors, and humidifiers (with integrated flow generators). The beneficiaries were Phramongkutklao Hospital, Rajavithi Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thammasat University Hospital, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital and Vajira Hospital. Mr. Anek Pana-apichon, CEO of INTOUCH, made the following statement: 'The latest wave of Covid-19 has spread out across the country with a large number of infections, especially in Bangkok and its vicinity. INTOUCH has supported seven hospitals with medical equipment that each one needed in order to save lives and facilitate the work of doctors and nurses on the front line in helping patients to recover faster.' INTOUCH would like to encourage all medical personnel and other healthcare workers, who are dedicated to looking after their patients and stopping the spread of Covid-19. We must all get through this crisis together as soon as possible.
