DSP Corporation completed the acquisition of EMnI Co., Ltd. from Hans Eng Corp. and IntroMedic Co., Ltd..

DSP Corporation entered into an agreement to acquire EMnI Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A083470) from Hans Eng Corp. and IntroMedic Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A150840) for KRW 3.1 billion on March 12, 2021. DSP Corporation will acquire 6.2 million at an offer per share of KRW 500. DSP Corporation will acquire 4 million shares from IntroMedic Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A150840) and 2.2 million shares from Hans Eng Corp. Out of KRW 3.1 billion, KRW 2 billion would be paid to IntroMedic and KRW 1.1. billion to Hans Eng Corp. IntroMedic and Hans Eng will hold 13.38% stake and 16.95% stake in EMnI after completion of the transaction. The transaction will be funded by using internal resources. As of March 19, 2021, the payment date of down payment was changed. The transaction is expected to close on March 30, 2021. As of March 30, 2021, IntroMedic Co., Ltd. completed the sale of 17.84% stake in EMnI.

IntroMedic Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the development, manufacture and distribution of medical equipment. The Companyâs products consist of capsule endoscope, which is used for small intestine check under the brand name MiroCam; disposable endoscope, which is used to detect abnormalities of the esophagus and the stomach under the brand name E.G. Scan, and other accessories, such as abdominal disposable data belts and others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
