NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Rio de Janeiro, August 30, 2022 - IRB-Brasil Resseguros S.A. (B3: IRBR3) ("IRB Brasil RE" or "Company") informs the market and its shareholders that it signed, on yesterday's date, with the companies that own and control the Casashopping enterprise, located in the City of Rio de Janeiro, an extrajudicial agreement, within the scope of which these companies undertook to pay the amount total of R$ 100 million to the Company under the terms and deadlines established in the aforementioned agreement, with the objective of ending the lawsuits between the parties that have been processed for almost 20 years, as well as selling the participation of IRB Brasil RE in said real estate project .
The conclusion of the negotiation process, conducted by the Management of IRB Brasil RE, is part of the Company's strategy of optimizing the capital structure and the regulatory indicator of technical provisions coverage.
