ITOCHU : Announces Development of Multi-tenant Logistics Facilities in Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture and Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture

ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Keita Ishii, President & COO; hereinafter 'ITOCHU') announced today that it will develop i Missions Park Kazo (provisional name) in Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture and i Missions Park Kasugai (provisional name) in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, in collaboration with ITOCHU Property Development, Ltd. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Norio Matsu).
i Missions Park Kazo (Provisional name)
This property is approximately 2.5 km from the Tohoku Expressway's Kazo IC and, with easy access to both the Tohoku Expressway and the Ken-O Expressway, it is in a highly convenient location as a wide-area distribution base for eastern Japan. Located in Toyonodai Techno Town Industrial Complex, the property is surrounded by logistics facilities and manufacturing plants, enabling 24-hour operation. With a bus stop also within walking distance, the property is in an easily commutable location which is advantageous for attracting and retaining workers. ITOCHU will push ahead with the development of the project and recruitment of tenants with a view to completion in October 2022.
i Missions Park Kasugai (Provisional name)
This property is approximately 5 km from the Tomei Expressway's Kasugai IC and also offers good access to downtown Nagoya via a main national route (National Route No 19) and is, therefore, conveniently located as a wide-area distribution base and a distribution base for central Nagoya. While the neighboring Komaki area is the biggest logistics hub in the Chubu region, this property's location is promising for attracting and retaining workers as it located within urban area that includes residential housing. ITOCHU will push ahead with the development of the project and recruitment of tenants with a view to completion of the property as the first multi-tenant logistics facility in the Chubu region in March 2023.
