Japan Radio Co., Ltd.(JRC) is pleased to announce that a wholly-owned subsidiary 'Alphatron Marine Korea Co., Ltd.' in Busan, South Korea commenced business operations on September 1, 2017.

Business operations overview:

Alphatron Marine Korea, a subsidiary of JRC established in Busan, South Korea on July 3, 2017, officially started business operations on September 1, 2017.

The southern part of South Korea between the areas of Busan/Ulsan and South Gyeongsang Province is the center of Korean shipbuilding industries as it serves as a hub for many of the world-class shipbuilding yards. The establishment of Alphatron Marine Korea in Busan, a strategically significant location with the large port, will allow us to respond to a wide range of needs in the South Korean market.

Alphatron Marine Korea will offer the best bridge solutions for our customers by integrating hardware development and supply capabilities of JRC, an integration ability of Alphatron Marine, and various abilities of our partner companies including our strategic partner Transas Marine Limited. Alphatron Marine Korea will also provide various services such as highly advanced technical support, training and installation, retrofit, and preventive maintenance for all types of ships including merchant ships, fishing vessels, and workboats.
