Jauharabad Sugar Mills Limited is a Pakistan-based company. The principal activity of the Company is manufacturing and sale of sugar and its by-products. It manufactures and sells sugar produced from sugarcane, sugar beet, raw sugar, other vegetables and to deal in all its activities, such as growing sugarcane, sugar beet, setting up plants and equipment to produce ethanol from molasses, setting up steel re-melting units and to do all other matters related to its byproducts. Its products include sugar, molasses, bagasse and mud. Molasses is used in the production of sweetened products in chocolates, preparation of medicines and a major ingredient in ethanol production, used in fuel and others. Bagasse is a fibrous residue left over after the sugarcane is crushed. The fiber content of bagasse (cellulose) is used in cellulose industries like pulp, paper and particles. The Company’s production plant is located at Industrial Area Jauharabad City, District Khushab in the province of Punjab.
