JSE Limited reported earnings per share guidance for the six months ended June 30, 2018. For the period, the shareholders are advised that basic earnings per share are expected to be between 30% (638.2 cents per share) and 40% (687.3 cents per share) higher than that reported for the previous corresponding six-month period in 2017 (490.9 cents per share). The Group's headline earnings per share are expected to be between 30% (635.6 cents per share) and 40% (684.5 cents per share) higher than that reported for the previous corresponding six-month period in 2017 (488.9 cents per share). The expected increase in EPS and HEPS is principally attributable to cost control across the Group, a once-off taxation credit of ZAR 31 million as well as growth in revenue.
