KALiNA Power Limited announced the key executive appointments, to head up the company's China operations. Nigel Chea (President - Greater China), Daniel Chan (Senior Vice President - Greater China) and Jason Kauchun Tse (Technical Director - Greater China). The newly appointed executives previously worked together at Meiya Power. Chea is a highly respected industry professional within the China power and energy sector. He was one of the founding senior executives at Meiya Power, and was pivotal in the Company's growth throughout his 20-year tenure, ending in late 2015. Formerly, Mr. Chea was Meiya Power's Chief Operating Officer and President of Greater China overseeing the Company's asset portfolio. He has extensive senior management experience across corporate strategy, operations, business development and financing in local and international firms, as well as China State Owned Enterprises within the Asian power and energy sector. He is currently based in Hong Kong and is the Vice Chairman of the China Investment Association. He has previously served on the China Electricity Council and the China Pricing Association. Chan is a Professional Engineer, registered in the US. He is based in Hong Kong and has over 34 years of experience in the power and energy industry across North America and Asia, including in power plant asset management and power engineering consultancy. Most recently he served as the Chief Operating Officer of China Hydro Corporation. Mr. Tse is a Professional Engineer. He is based in Hong Kong and has over 36 years of senior engineering experience in technical power plant operations across North America and Asia. He was previously the Technical Director (Cogeneration Stations) at Meiya Power, where he worked for over 12 years, and was responsible for three cogeneration facilities in China.
