As utility costs continue to rise, we have been working to improve profits by reducing costs but we have reached the limit of what we can do ourselves and we have determined that this price revision is necessary for stable supply in the future.

Kaneka Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Minoru Tanaka) will revise the sales prices of modacrylic fiber for flame retardant and material applications (product names; KanecaronTM and ProtexTM). For shipments from May 1, the current price will be raised by 50 JPY/kilogram.April 3, 2023
