Kaveri Seed Company Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 1,713.22 million compared to INR 1,670.81 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 1,848.31 million compared to INR 1,745.75 million a year ago. Net income was INR 137.17 million compared to INR 53.01 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.65. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.65.
For the six months, sales was INR 9,074.26 million compared to INR 8,526.71 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 9,325.85 million compared to INR 8,676.22 million a year ago. Net income was INR 2,872.34 million compared to INR 2,491.22 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 51.75 compared to INR 42.72 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 51.75 compared to INR 42.72 a year ago.
Kaveri Seed Company Limited is an India-based agricultural company. The Company specializes in hybrid seeds. The product portfolio of the Company consists of a range of high yielding seeds in field crops, such as maize, cotton, rice, pearl millet, mustard, wheat, sorghum, pulses, bajra, wheat, sunflower, and other vegetable crops, which includes tomatoes, okra, chilies, watermelon, gourds and brinjal.
