Stemming from the Bank's supportive approach towards the ambitious Bahraini Youth, and based on its solid belief in the significance of the training process to graduate qualified national cadres in the Banking and Finance Sector, Mr. Sattam Sulaiman Algosaibi, CEO of Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), one of the leading Islamic banks in the Kingdom, has recently received the participating students in the Capital Markets Apprenticeship Program, which was organised by Bahrain Bourse earlier this year, under the Bank's sponsorship and support. During the reception, Mr. Algosaibi congratulated the participating students on passing this valuable program and was also briefed on the professional outcome the students obtained through the program's various stages, hoping that this experience will form a starting point for their professional future.

On this occasion, Mr. Algosaibi commented "We are proud at KHCB to play an integral role in the success of this distinguished program by providing sponsorship and support to the participating ambitious Bahraini Youth, which was launched by Bahrain Bourse with the aim of preparing Bahraini Cadres to enter the labour market, and providing them with the skills necessary to succeed and excel in the Financial Sector. I had the pleasure of meeting these students and listening to their experience and aspirations towards contributing to the Financial Sector's development, wishing them all success in their professional careers."

Mr. Algosaibi added "The Bank is keen to support such quality programs offered by Bahrain Bourse, as we annually sponsor the 'TradeQuest' program that the Bourse holds for school and university students. This year, we sponsored this new program that targets university graduate students and provides them with the necessary training to prepare them to enter the labour market. I take this opportunity to express thanks and appreciation to Bahrain Bourse for launching such initiatives that will certainly have positive impacts on the Banking and Finance Sector by preparing an elite group of future leaders, who are able to continue pushing the sector's growth and taking it to broader horizons."

It is worth noting that the Capital Markets Apprenticeship Program included training workshops on the Capital Markets Sector, research methods, and financial analysis. The trainees also benefited from the opportunity to communicate with decision-makers at the highest level. The program was implemented with the participation of 8 trainees out of 470 submissions received. Participants of the program have obtained a comprehensive practical experience to enhance their skills and knowledge about the Bahraini Financial Market and the Capital Markets Sector.
