Kid Brands, Inc. filed a motion in the US Bankruptcy Court for the sale of certain assets on July 21, 2014. The debtor seeks the Court's approval for the sale of inventory and assets that are no longer useful in the debtor's operations. In order to maximize value the debtor requests authorization to continue to sell inventory and assets without the need to obtain further Court approval.

If a buyer offers a purchase price of less than $0.1 million, then the debtor would sell the inventory or asset without court order. If the buyer offers a purchase price greater than $0.1 million and up to $0.2 million, then the debtor shall give sale notice before sale consummation. The notice parties will have 5 business days to object to the sale.

If the sale price offered is greater than $0.2 million the debtor will file a motion pursuant to Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Court.
