For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,204.010 million compared to TWD 1,346.105 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 474.579 million compared to TWD 410.813 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 285.185 million compared to TWD 331.030 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.76 compared to TWD 0.86 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 3,923.829 million compared to TWD 2,423.810 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,000.021 million compared to TWD 960.288 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 698.548 million compared to TWD 802.984 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.84 compared to TWD 2.09 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.83 compared to TWD 2.08 a year ago.
