Korea Steel Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 1,207.35 million compared to KRW 72,551.24 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 3,408.63 million compared to KRW 1,093.49 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 56 compared to KRW 18 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 54. Basic earnings per share was KRW 56 compared to KRW 18 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was KRW 54.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 37,475.12 million compared to KRW 260,131.34 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 21,668.84 million compared to KRW 25,039.5 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 358 compared to KRW 432 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 318 compared to KRW 363 a year ago.
