Kotak Mahindra Bank and its CSR Partner - Borderless World Foundation Provide Five Critical Care Equipped Ambulances to Various Units of Indian Army & Border Security Force in Jammu & Kashmir (UT)

Mumbai, 20th August, 2021: Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (KMBL) and its CSR partner - Borderless World Foundation (BWF), today announced providing five critical care equipped ambulances to various units of the Indian Army and the Border Security Force in Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory (UT). The Hon'ble Defence Minister of India, Shri Rajnath Singh, flagged off the five Critical Care Ambulances at New Delhi. Hon'ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Shri Vinay Sahasrabuddhe and Major General Vijay Singh, were also present at the flag-offevent.

The five well-equipped emergency medical and trauma care ambulances are being provided under Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited's CSR Project on Healthcare and its partner organisation Borderless World Foundation to various units of the Indian Army

and the Border Security Force in Jammu and Kashmir (UT), such as 41 Rashtriya Rifles (MLI), Indian Army - 56 Maratha Light Infantry and 19 Div HQ etc.

These Indian Defence units will manage daily operations of these ambulances including deployment of doctors, paramedics, nurses, drivers and hospital support, maintenance and servicing of the ambulance and medical equipment, along with the recurring operational expenses. The ambulance driver will have a 24X7 mobile helpline number for quick accessibility in case of any emergency.

care ambulances to deliver timely medical assistance for the people living close to the Indian border."
