Delta Gamunupura MV, Kothmale, Monti Gopallava PV, Wilgamuwa and Cleverton TMV, Hatton came on top among 74 schools from the Central Province to win the three categories of the Nestle All-Island Kids Athletics finals of Grade 4 segment held at the Jayathilake Stadium in Nawalapitiya.

Delta Gamunupura MV topped the Boys' segment ahead of Monti Gopallava Primary School, Wilgamuwa and Dharmaraja College, Kandy. Monti Gopallava Primary School, Wilgamuwa came twice among the top three as they topped the Girls' category ahead of Ambagamuwa APV, Hatton and Girls' High School, Kandy.

Cleverton Tamil Maha Vidyalaya, Hatton topped the Mixed School segment as Ananda Dassanayaka PV, Kotmale and Dumbara RPS, Wattegama followed in at second and third.

Closer to 3000 students from over 75 schools participated in three segments competed at the Nestle All-Island Kids Athletics Grade 4, where the youngsters were given the interest to take part in sports activities.
