KROMI Logistik AG announced earnings results for the nine months ended March 31, 2018. For the nine months, the company achieved sales growth of 13.8% by comparison with the previous year in the first nine months of the 2017/2018 financial year. Between July 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018, the company generated revenues of EUR 61,765,000 compared to EUR 54,269,000 for the same period a year ago. The company succeeded in boosting EBIT - adjusted to take account of non-operating effects not impacting the cash position - by 31.5 % to EUR 1,679,000 in the same period previous year value of EUR 1,277,000. Operating earnings, that is EBIT adjusted to take account of non-operating effects with no effect on the cash position, increased by 31.5 % from EUR 1,277,000 in the previous year to EUR 1,679,000. Operating earnings (EBIT) amounted to loss of EUR 23,000 following earnings of EUR 1,659,000 in the previous year. Consolidated loss was EUR 660,000 compared to profit of EUR 952,000 for the same period a year ago.

In spite of the high potential of the company's business, the company has had to adjust its earnings forecast for the 2017/2018 financial year due to unscheduled events within the reporting period. The company now expects operating earnings to come in at breakeven or to show a slight profit before extraordinary, non-operating items resulting from foreign currency translation and the provision in connection with the departure of the former Chairman of the Board J-rg Schubert. In terms of sales in 2017/2018, the company is still forecasting growth in the upper single-digit percentage range by comparison with the previous year.
