Zhoushan Huakang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire Zhejiang Jinggong Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. from Kuaijishan Shaoxing Rice Wine Co., Ltd. (SHSE:601579) for CNY 93.1 million on January 20, 2024. The consideration consists of CNY 93.06 million in cash. As part of the consideration, CNY 93.06 million was paid towards common equity.
The transaction was approved by the board of directors of Zhoushan Huakang Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
Kuaijishan Shaoxing Rice Wine Co Ltd is a China-based company mainly engaged in the production, sales, and research and development of Huangjiu. The Company is also engaged in the sales of liquors by-products. The company mainly owns main brands such as Kuaijishan, Xitang, Wufelt Hat, Tang Song, and others. The Company mainly produces a series of yellow wine products including Kuaiji Mountain Pure, Pure Harmony, Lanting, Elegance, Collection, Zhenshi, Gift Boxes, Pottery Altars, Fine Carving, Water Fragrance National Colors, Di Jutang, Xitang Original Fragrance, Black Felt Hat Frozen Ice Sculpture, Green Water and Green Mountains, and others. The Company mainly operates its businesses in the domestic market.
