Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad announced resignation of Puan Norita Binti Mohd Sidek as non-independent and non-executive director. Date of change is 22 March 2024. Age: 63.

Reason: expiry of her contract as chief executive officer of Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) (MBI) where she was the board representative of MBI in KPS Berhad. Working experience and occupation: Puan Norita has more than 30 years of experience in the public service, having garnered vast experience in corporate planning and honed expertise in strategic planning, business strategy, corporate development, and stakeholder engagement. During her tenure in Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS), she was instrumental in driving the economic and social growth of the state of Selangor, pushing for development projects that emphasise on the environmental, social and governance aspects.

Prior to being appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of (MBI), Puan Norita was the Chief Operating Officer of PKNS. As the former CEO of MBI, she was pivotal in administering the Selangor state assets and investment, playing a significant role in promoting and supporting state development efforts as well as social and public responsibilities. The business acumen and social cognisance developed during her tenure in PKNS and MBI had brought valuable insights through a broader perspective to the Board on various matters relevant to KPS Berhad.
