Kura Sushi Asia Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 482.11 million compared to TWD 689.24 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 52.87 million compared to net income of TWD 23.48 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.15 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.6 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.15 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.57 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,653.58 million compared to TWD 1,699.68 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 47.87 million compared to net income of TWD 8.23 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.05 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.21 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.05 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.2 a year ago.
