Kura Sushi Asia Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 379.438 million compared to TWD 498.668 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 68.422 million compared to TWD 8.794 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 53.822 million compared to TWD 6.325 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.17 compared to TWD 0.17 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,171.477 million compared to TWD 1,010.439 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 7.817 million compared to operating loss of TWD 14.659 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 5.007 million compared to net loss of TWD 15.250 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.11 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.4 a year ago.
