LHC Group, Inc. (NasdaqGS:LHCG) agreed to acquire Life Wellness Home Health Agency, LLC on November 5, 2019. In related transaction, LHC Group and LifePoint Health agreed to acquire one home health provider with a location in Wilmington, Ohio and two hospice providers with a location in Sierra Vista, Arizona and Lewiston, Idaho on November 5, 2019. The agreement, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close by December 1, 2019. LHC Group, Inc. (NasdaqGS:LHCG) completed the acquisition of Life Wellness Home Health Agency, LLC on December 1, 2019.

The Company operates through five segments: Home Health Services, Hospice Services, Home and Community-Based Services, Facility-Based Services and Healthcare Innovations (HCI). The Home Health Service segment offers a range of services, including wound care and dressing changes, pain management, pharmaceutical administration, skilled observation and assessment and patient education. The Hospice segment offers a range of services, including pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, inpatient and respite care, homemaker services, and counseling. The Home and Community-Based Services segment, services are performed by skilled nursing and paraprofessional personnel, and include assistance with activities of daily living to the elderly, chronically ill, and disabled patients.
