LPP SA Reports Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and Six Months Ended July 31, 2022

LPP SA reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended July 31, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was PLN 4,340.57 million compared to PLN 2,990.23 million a year ago. Net income was PLN 246.19 million compared to PLN 459.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PLN 292.32. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was PLN 292.32.
For the six months, sales was PLN 7,374.8 million compared to PLN 4,805.53 million a year ago. Net income was PLN 514.16 million compared to PLN 480.64 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PLN 307.17 compared to PLN 60.55 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was PLN 307.17 compared to PLN 60.55 a year ago.
LPP SA specializes in creating, manufacturing and marketing clothes for men, women and children. Products are sold under the Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito and Sinsay brands. The group's activity is organized around 3 families of products:
- clothes: jackets, coats, pullovers, sweaters, pants, dresses, shirts, etc.;
- underwear;
- accessories: hats, scarves, gloves, etc.
At the end of 2021, products are marketed through a network of 2,244 stores worldwide.
Net sales break down geographically as follows: Poland (39.3%), Eastern Europe (27.8%), Europe (32.7%) and Middle East (0.2%).
